The BT612 load tester is used to quickly determine the current charge status and the high current capacity of sealed 12 V lead starter batteries (VG 96924) with a nominal capacity of greater than 30 Ah. For batteries smaller than 30 Ah, we recommend using a battery tester with a load current of 25 or 50 A.
The BT612 is built in an aluminum housing with ventilation openings and an internal fan. The robust switch and large handle make it possible to use the device even when wearing gloves.
