Universal adapter ZERO-Volt for NiCd-batteries
For several maintenance procedures the battery manufacturers demand a discharge up to zero volt (e.g. reconditioning) and/or is kept on this zero‐volt‐level.
The Nortec adapter ZERO‐Volt was developed, so that the battery charger/analyzer UL60 is not blocked when the device is deep discharged (ZERO‐Volt). The adapter can be connected directly to the Nortec UL60 automatic cell measuring adapters. The Nortec UL60 automatic cell measuring adapters are required for usage.
The battery adapter ZERO‐Volt fits up to 23 cells of a NiCd‐battery. By means of fitting resistors each cell will be discharged down to zero volt. The operation on a fully charged battery is not critical. The resistor‐matrix, which is head up during discharge process, is protected from touch by a coated hood.
