Automated cell measurement adapters or “bed of nails” are useful accessories for maintenance of aircraft batteries with charger/analyzers. Placed on the battery the charger/analyzer measures the voltage for each cell automatically according to the program steps. This automatic voltage measurement avoids manual measurement errors, increases measurement accuracy and operational efficiency.
Due to the different designs of the batteries, the customized adapters are needed.
Nortec cell measurement adapters are applicable for different sizes of aircraft batteries. The cell voltages are measured and recorded automatically by the program of the charger/analyzer. The transparent adapter with holes for access to the vents is fitted on the battery.
